    Cool

1)First question: To use the free WiFi from some hotels or airports, do you have to have the same ISP ? or the same tel company ?

2)Will it be possible to use handheld device, connected for example, to Yahoo messenger that can act as a mobil phone ?

As long as it's an "open" system, not requiring a password, then anyone with a wireless card can log in.

Not exactly sure what you mean by the second question... you should be using a wireless card for your laptop and not a cellphone to dial up with. The "Wi" part of WiFI stands for Wireless, and not Cordless or Mobile... they need a wireless radio card in your computer.

Right know you can call other people in the net using Yahoo messanger, even with ringtones, provided the other person has yahoo messanger too. If someone makes a basic handheld pc with just a small version of XP and IE, sounds possible to get in contact with anybody else having same configuration, as long as the divice is all the time on and using the free Wi-Fi signal
